PIP Application Support
Personal Independence Payment (PIP) is worth up to £10,119 a year, tax-free. Nationally, only 43% of claims succeed — most fail because of how the form is filled in, missed deadlines, or missing evidence, not because the person wasn't entitled. We use technology and expertise to do far better than that.

Why Use Silverwings for PIP
Everything below is included as part of our PIP application service.
Same-Day Submission
Once your interview is complete, your application can be prepared and submitted the same day — no waiting weeks for a caseworker to get to your file.
Nothing You Say Is Missed
Our AI-powered interview capture means every detail you tell us about your daily life is recorded accurately — nothing gets forgotten, summarised away, or lost in translation.
Your Words, Exactly
Your application matches exactly what you told us — no human typing errors, no misrepresentation, no one else's words put in your mouth.
Evidence Gathered For You
We proactively request GP letters, consultant reports, prescription lists and care plans, then submit them alongside your form so the assessor has a fuller picture from the start.
Assessment Representation
We join your telephone assessment with you, helping you articulate your difficulties clearly and making sure nothing said contradicts or understates your form.
Instant Award Detection
We track your claim throughout, and with your permission, use secure Open Banking to detect the moment your award lands — no waiting on hold to find out the outcome.
Mandatory Reconsideration & Appeal Prep Included
If you're refused, Mandatory Reconsideration and Appeal preparation are already included in our fee — you don't pay extra to fight a wrong decision.
No Win, No Fee
No money upfront, and nothing to pay at all if your application isn't successful. If it is, interest-free payment plans are available over 3-6 months.
Why Do We Have 3 Steps Before You Speak to Anyone?
We could just take your number and call you. Instead, we ask you to complete 3 quick steps first — here's exactly why.
Step 1 — We only take cases likely to succeed
This protects your time and ours. If your answers don't point toward a viable claim, we tell you honestly rather than taking you through a paid process that isn't likely to help.
Step 2 — We check affordability
We never want our service to put you in financial difficulty. We explain exactly how our fee works upfront, before you commit to anything.
Step 3 — We want you 100% clear on who we are
We're an independent, paid company — not the DWP, and not a government service. You confirm you understand that, and how our fee works, before we book your call.
Why So Many PIP Claims Struggle
The wrong language
PIP asks how your condition affects 12 daily activities, scored against specific descriptors. Describing a condition medically (“I have arthritis”) instead of functionally (“I can't grip a knife safely to prepare food”) makes it hard for an assessor to score fairly.
Missed deadlines
The PIP2 form must be returned within one month or the claim is closed. Flare-ups, confusion about the form, or simply feeling overwhelmed cause people to miss this — sometimes without realising an extension was possible.
Not enough evidence
A form without supporting evidence — GP letters, consultant reports, prescription lists, care plans — leaves the assessor with less to go on, which often means a face-to-face or phone assessment is unavoidable.
The form itself is overwhelming
The PIP2 form is long, repetitive, and asks people to relive their worst days in writing while unwell. Many people underplay their difficulties simply because writing it all down is exhausting.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why do I have to answer questions before speaking to someone?
So we only take on cases that are genuinely likely to succeed, so we can check our service won't cause you financial difficulty, and so you're completely clear this is a paid, independent service before anything else happens. See “Why Do We Have 3 Steps” above for the full explanation.
Can I apply for PIP myself, for free?
Yes. You can apply for PIP directly with DWP at no cost by calling the PIP claim line or using gov.uk. Citizens Advice and other charities also offer free help, though waiting lists can be long. Our paid service is for people who want expert, dedicated support without the wait.
Do you guarantee I'll be awarded PIP?
No — we can't and don't guarantee any outcome. The eligibility check above is a pre-screen, not a decision. What we can do is help you present your circumstances clearly, with the right language and evidence, so the assessor has what they need to make a fair decision.
How much does your service cost?
We charge a success fee — you only pay if your claim is awarded. There's no upfront cost and nothing to pay if the claim is unsuccessful. See the fee section above for details.
What if I've already applied and been refused?
We can still help. Mandatory Reconsideration and Appeal preparation are included in our fee — give us a call and we'll talk through your options and the relevant deadlines.
Are you affiliated with DWP?
No. Silverwings is an independent, paid support service — we are not part of DWP, the government, or any government agency. This is confirmed explicitly as part of our eligibility process above.
