Terms of Service
Last updated: January 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the website and services provided by Silverwings Benefits Ltd (“we”, “our”, “us”). By using our website or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.
1. About Us
Silverwings Benefits Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 15216178). Our registered office is at Cbx, Cobalt Park Way, Wallsend, England, NE28 9NZ. We provide professional support to help people over 67 apply for Attendance Allowance and other government benefits.
2. Our Services
We offer the following services:
- A free eligibility check to determine whether you may qualify for Attendance Allowance.
- A triage call to confirm your eligibility and explain our service.
- A detailed phone consultation (approximately 60 minutes) to understand your situation and complete the application form on your behalf.
- Submission of your application to the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) or Social Security Scotland.
- Ongoing support throughout the application process, including a free Mandatory Reconsideration service if your initial application is rejected.
- Free help completing a Blue Badge application, at no charge, whether or not you use our paid Attendance Allowance service.
- A free annual benefit review, checking for any change in circumstances and any further benefits or social tariffs you may have become eligible for since your last award.
We are not a law firm, and we are not the DWP, HMRC, your local council, or any other government department, nor are we affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any of them. You are always free to apply for Attendance Allowance, Pension Credit, or any other benefit yourself, at no cost, or with free help from Citizens Advice or Turn2us. We act as a professional representative to help you present your application in the strongest possible way, as a paid-for alternative you choose to use.
3. Fees and Payment
Our service operates on a no win, no fee basis:
- If your application is unsuccessful, you pay nothing.
- If your application is successful, our fee is 15% + VAT of your first year’s Attendance Allowance award.
- For the lower rate award (£4,615/year), the fee is approximately £691 + VAT.
- For the higher rate award (£5,741/year), the fee is approximately £1,033 + VAT.
- A 3-month payment plan is available on request, and around half of our successful clients choose an interest-free plan structured so they keep at least £50–£100 from their new award each month.
Payment is due after you receive your award decision. We will never ask you for payment upfront, and we cannot and do not deduct our fee directly from your benefit award — the DWP or Social Security Scotland pay your benefit directly to you, and our fee is always invoiced to you separately. If you proceed beyond the initial free eligibility check towards a full application, you will be told clearly, on at least two separate occasions during our calls with you, that this fee applies if your application is successful, before your application is submitted.
3a. Recorded Calls and Mandatory Reconsideration
With your consent, our advice and consultation calls with you are recorded. A transcript of any call is available to you on request, so you can always check exactly what was discussed and agreed.
On average, the DWP issues a decision within 32 days of us submitting an application, and 74% of the applications we submit are upheld within that period. For the remainder, we offer a full Mandatory Reconsideration service at no additional cost to you. Of clients who choose to proceed with a Mandatory Reconsideration, 96% are successful, typically within 60–90 days. We are transparent that not every application succeeds first time, in line with published DWP figures, and we do not guarantee an outcome — see Section 6.
4. Your Responsibilities
When using our services, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and truthful information about your health conditions and personal circumstances.
- Inform us promptly of any changes to your health, living arrangements, or contact details.
- Cooperate with our team during the consultation and application process.
- Pay the agreed fee if your application is successful.
5. Cancellation and Cooling-Off Period
You have the right to cancel our services at any time before we submit your application to the DWP, at no cost.
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you also have a 14-day cooling-off period from the date you agree to use our service. If you cancel within this period, you will not be charged.
To cancel, please contact us by email at support@silverwingsbenefits.com or by telephone at 0808 531 0298.
6. No Guarantee of Outcome
While we have a 96% success rate, we cannot guarantee that your application will be successful. The decision to award Attendance Allowance rests solely with the DWP or Social Security Scotland. Our role is to present your application as clearly and accurately as possible.

- Our total liability to you shall not exceed the fee you have paid us for our services.
