What is the Child Disability Benefit?
- A tax-free monthly benefit for families raising a child under 18 with a severe and prolonged disability.
- Paid as an add-on to the Canada Child Benefit (CCB), on top of your regular CCB payment.
- Requires your child to be approved for the Disability Tax Credit (DTC), certified on Form T2201.
- Worth up to C$276.83 a month per eligible child in the 2024/25 benefit year, reduced gradually as family income rises.
Check If Your Child Is Likely to Qualify
