You need an injury, disease, or physical or intellectual disability that substantially restricts your capacity to work, expected to last at least 1 year.

Means-tested

Your income and savings/capital are taken into account. The first €50,000 of savings is currently disregarded.

Rehabilitative employment allowed

You can do rehabilitative employment and earn up to €165 a week without it affecting your claim.
